By infrared radars, we mean thermal imaging solutions that monitor the entire environment or a specific sector using a thermal camera and AI software, triggering an alarm if a person, vehicle, boat, or similar target moves into a designated restricted area. A thermal camera sees equally well in complete darkness as it does in a brightly lit environment, and as a passive system, it does not reveal itself to targets.
We import and represent the Spynel systems developed by the French company HGH Infrared Systems. The smallest model, the approximately 1.8 kg Spynel-M, detects humans from a distance of up to 700 meters and begins tracking their movement. The most heavy-duty model, the Spynel-X, achieves the same at a distance of 8–9 km. The Cyclope & GAIA software is capable of classifying targets as they come nearer and, for instance, filter out alarms caused by animals. [1, 2]
